Identification guide and key for more than 3300 wild plants

The free Flora Helvetica Mini app shows all functions of Flora Helvetica Pro version, but only selected species. It allows rapid testing and gives a good overview of the full version.

The full version contains images and Artporträts of more than 3300 in Switzerland growing plants and allow a multi-criteria key determining plants using simple features. The Pro version also includes the proven dichotomous key.

The plants are equipped with portraits images, distribution maps and informative texts. In a field book's observations can be saved with the exact location and reported to the National Data and Information Center Info flora. In addition favorites can be managed and their own observations are enriched with photos and notes.

Types & Filters

The species list allows browsing and searching in the types, either with the German or Latin, respectively. French or Latin species names, the list can be displayed sorted alphabetically or by book number. With the filter, the species list can be narrowed down to desired characteristics such as flowering time, geographic distribution, or by the families and genera.
